An ice slide!

[Mat's all bright smiles as Hennessy leads them along. This is much better than wandering around and trying to tempt guards or late night staff to roll a few rounds of dice with him.

Or giving up and studying his magic in the library.

Even better that he has delightful company. He likes Hennessy. She's got a hell of a spark, and seems to have no interest in asking him probing questions or sharing anything deep and personal with him. He loves his friends dearly, but he can only take so much. He is not a serious lad at heart.

I am uniquely equipped to make one. I haven't, as yet, but it's a thought that's occurred to me. And this seems like the perfect opportunity to try! I can make mist, it's the first thing this world ever gave me. And I can freeze things. Mist's full of water, water freezes...

[ Hennessy continues to look skeptical. At least Mat's pretty cute, and this seems like a bad enough idea that they'll probably give themselves concussions or something equally interesting. ]

Frozen mist. Well, I suppose there's a first time for everything. I can create a distraction if we get caught by anyone without a sense of fun.
