If you've got time to spare. Earth has animals that look a lot like them. Much smaller, though. Something tells me that's where the similarities begin and end.

Sure.

They're fast and strong, and they're full of some sort of acid poison that can kill in hours. Even their blood itself. Can't abide water, though. They aren't REAL animals, not in the sense that they were made by nature. They're born of the dark.

But weapons can kill them, just takes a hell of a lot.

Is there anything the poison doesn't seem to have an impact on? Will it eat through everything?

Any special weapon? What I've seen in Solvunn isn't the most advanced. If it has to be a certain material or forged in some kind of ritual we might be in trouble.

Not that I know of. They say it burns through everything. But there's a lot of 'maybes' and 'they says' as no one's ever been able to study them.

Regular weapons should do it. They're strong and fast and magic and all, but they're not immortal.

They hunt. That's all they do. In packs.

No, thank the light. I've run away from them though. We crossed a river. Most darkfiends won't go into water. Don't know why.
